Unfortunately, I only have access to paper, pencil, pen, ink, colored pencils, markers, etc. (<--I think you get the point - -') Its actually kind of disappointing because I'd love to do more with my work. I don't think colored pencils do it justice Not to sound like I'm bragging; its just that colored pencils doesn't complement the 'anime' style of drawing.
But what I hate most of all about drawing with pencil and paper is that you can get what I like to call "Artist's Block" (excuse the pun please) when I lose my ability to draw for an extended period of time. Each time that happens I have to re-invent my style whether I want to or not.
The last style I had (fall of 2007 towards the end of winter in 2008) was by far my favorite and one I was really comfortable with. It made me really proud that I finally could do poses and that my bodies were proportional. On top of that, it was the first style I'd ever had where I continued to draw multiple characters that looked like they were drawn by the same person instead of them looking like a jumble of various styles. It was my first consistent style and the first that I labeled 'Mine'.
And then I FREAKIN' LOST IT!!! ARRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!! I AM SO MAD!!!!
...Well, I'm over it. Continueing on...
So now I have to look for another style *cries*, and at the time we're having the t-shirt contest... I think someone is out to get me...
