Hey all! With the upcoming deadline for the pre-preregistration for the March 2007 Anime Detour, I thought I'd upload some pictures from last year's convention.
NOTICE!!!
SOME of these pictures are pg13 OR MORE! The convention is DEFINITELY NOT meant for little kids. I will warn you which pictures are and aren't pg rated.
Last years convention was my personal first. It was awesome! I only got to go for a day and a half, and I did not end up staying in a hotel room. I cosplayed as Meryl from Trigun, which let me tell you, was a last minute made costume. The small group that went last year (this was BEFORE we made a club) was often split, and my date through the weekend ended up being Betsy. Most of us ended up "partnering" naturally. Not many of us ate or drank in 24 hours or so, though we did take a few breaks for rice and soda at the cafeteria.
The DDR room was pitiful, and unless I hear good things I won't be doing that again. There were two pads and one screen in a crowded room with long lines to the pad. The way the whole area felt was just depressing. If you're looking for DDR, I recomend the arcade.
As for the shops, bring a million dollars. You could spend a good fortune here easily and happily. Pocky, so many different kinds! Plushies, figurines, wall scrolls, anime weapons, strange apparrel and OF COURSE Manga and Anime. There's SOOO many stores, I'd get a job just to pay for my whims at the store.

A friend of mine, cosplaying as...nothing. This is the first time I actually met her in person. One of my real life friends introduced me to her over messenger, and she happened to also be going to Detour. I love you Allie! PG

One of my absolute favorites there! Tira (Soul Calibur 3). If you don't know this character, look her up in google images. This is an excellently made and worn costume. Bravo, Tira. Bravo. PG

Are you talking about the manga?

I think is a episode in the ~~lower 40's~~ if im guessing correctly (don't have them on my pc atm)

cha, i don't keep up with the anime on youtube anymore. i'd rather watch it on [AS] lol, i used to, untill like...29? but then i stopped carring ^^;

The [as] Bleach scares me. They sound weird and the jokes aren't as funny.

I watch it on utorrent. Look s like tv quality and take about 20 mins to DL.

i hate torrents. if i was going to download anime any more, IRC would be my first choice hands down, or DDL if i had to, but normally anime DDL is reeeeaaaaaaally sloooooow...lol
